I got official confirmation today that I have been selected to be the artist to create the main painting and supply additional paintings for an independent film to be shot in October. A photo session is being set up this weekend in California of the actress for my reference and I will then begin production drawings for approval and then on to the final painting which will be needed for the film and promotional material. Should be a lot of fun. Hopefully I will be able to give more details but for now I don’t have authority to reveal anything about the production. I can say it is about a pinup model and stuff she has to go thru and more of my work will be seen in the final scenes.

Photographing Peggy-Lee
To continually improve and innovate my pinup art I located a model to work with and we had our first shoot last weekend. She really was a trooper considering I had no idea what I was doing and wasn’t much help with directing… it was a learning experience for me and now that we are much more comfortable with each other the next shoot should be even more fun and productive!
Updating the blog
Never really happy with the way my “blogs” look or function so keeping it simple is probably best therefore I’ll be using wordpress now as my default blog page for my official site.
